About Maureen (Moe)

I was raised in the Detroit Michigan suburb of Allen Park whose claim to fame is Bob Seger (who played at the local high school dances before making it big). I moved to South Florida in 1973 with my family when I was in the 10th grade.I am proud of my mid-western upbringing and still feel that, even after being gone for 35 years, my strong mid-western values, that were instilled in my at a very early age, define the person that I am today. I still visit my friends and family back in Michigan as often as I can. I have a group of 7 girlfriends that I travel to Michigan often to see, we all met in the 7th grade, we hung out together then and still do today. My future goal is to one day be a "Florida Snow Bird" and have a second home in Northern Michigan, an incredibly beautiful area that I consider a "well kept secret"..

I attended college late in life with a goal of becoming a general contractor; I had worked for builders and developers for many years and really loved building and design. Somewhere along the way, while interviewing for a position in the contracting field, I was convinced by a local Real Estate developer that I should combine my strong sales background and my knowledge of building and design and sell Real Estate. He offered me a position with his company once I got my license. With a little nudge to change paths, I have since been grateful for his advice.That was 10 years ago and I have never looked back; even in the toughest markets. I found that as a Real Estate agent I do so much more than just "SELL". My job requires me to wear many different hats. My work involves creative marketing, mortgages, title work, advertising and design, graphic design, personal consulting, hand holding, negotiating, psychology and a good old fashioned people pleasing personality. This career has been so personally rewarding to me over the years, it is such a wonderful feeling to find a family the perfect home and take them rom the "search" to "contract" to "closing" to "seeing the finished product" once they have settled in. At the end of every transaction I want to know that I have been the best I could be and have earned another loyal client who will always feel comfortable referring me to others. The majority of my business has always been based on referrals from past clients, friends and family. Some of my closest friends today, I first met as clients, another very rewarding aspect of my business.

MY PHILOSOPHY: I have taken my "old fashioned" mid-western upbringing and incorporated it into my Real Estate business. In this "super-sized" world I approach all of my clients with a "MOM and POP" business attitude. I go the extra mile to make all my buyer's and seller's feel as if they are my only clients.I  believe in earning my income the old fashioned way, I work for it! I am not an "assembly line listing agent" just looking to close another deal and collect a paycheck. I have a very strong work ethic, at the end of each deal I want to feel that I have earned my paycheck.
